ALGO Introduction
Assisted Living Goes Out (ALGO) purpose is to actively seek out and support accessibility with the overarching aim of contributing to improved well-being and enjoyment of all people in out community.
How It Works
Each month, a business who meets the ALGO accessibility criteria will receive an official certificate, seal of approval and will be showcased on our social media platforms.
Accessibility Means:
- Designated accessible parking spaces signage
- Clear, barrier free path leading to building
- Entrances clearly marked and fully accessible
- Enough room in the establishment for wheelchair movement
- At least one fully accessible restroom
