ALGO Introduction

Assisted Living Goes Out (ALGO) purpose is to actively seek out and support accessibility with the overarching aim of contributing to improved well-being and enjoyment of all people in out community.

How It Works

Each month, a business who meets the ALGO accessibility criteria will receive an official certificate, seal of approval and will be showcased on our social media platforms.

Accessibility Means:

  •  Designated accessible parking spaces signage
  • Clear, barrier free path leading to building
  • Entrances clearly marked and fully accessible
  • Enough room in the establishment for wheelchair movement
  • At least one fully accessible restroom
