Director

Sarah Bondy

Director

Sarah is a disability advocate. She has always had a calling to help people and has always wanted to leave this world a little better than when she came into it.  She just didn’t know how to go about it; that all changed one night when she stumbled upon the documentary Crip Camp on Netflix. This led her to a series of webinars on disability justice, it was then that the fire was lit within her.

She became a member of the CAG and then later was nominated chair in 2019. The accomplishment she is the proudest of so far is when the CAG was able to secure the continuation of two rental subsidies Strong Communities 1&2 which were in danger of ending. What she hopes to accomplish with being a board member here at ALSO is to help make the people within this organization lives better.  Our lives are all interconnected, and she believes we all need to help each other when and if we can.
